With its 52 years of existence, the Administration of the Colon Free Zone continues to promote the free exchange of merchandise, providing optimum and efficient service on a domestic and international level. As an autonomous institution with legal capacity, patrimony and capability, it employs a labor force of more than 500, to satisfy in an efficient manner the commercial movement of the free zone for the economic and social development of the Province of Colon and the progress of the Country. Very aware that our principal objective is to maintain the leadership that has distinguished us and the benefits that the free zone provides, we direct constant efforts to promote the area among the businessmen from all over the world, as well as among international trade organizations, and financial institutions that collaborate to consolidate efforts for continued and permanent development that will make it possible to add facilities and satisfy the existing demand. Our mission is focused on getting investors and businessmen in general, exploring new markets and becoming a facilitating avant-garde entity of international commerce at the service of the whole world for the economic well-being and development of our country.
